Galfan Gabions Specifications

• Wire Material: Made from low-carbon steel wire with Galfan coating (95% zinc, 5% aluminum) for better corrosion resistance than standard galvanized wire.
• Wire Diameter: Standard wire diameter is 2.0–4.0 mm; 2.7 mm is typical for mesh, 3.4 mm for selvedge wire.
• Mesh Type: Available in hexagonal woven mesh and welded wire mesh to suit different structural and site needs.
• Mesh Opening Size: Hexagonal mesh sizes: 60×80 mm, 80×100 mm, 100×120 mm. Welded mesh: 50×50 mm, 75×75 mm, 100×100 mm.
• Coating Thickness: Galfan coating thickness ranges from 190 g/m² to 300 g/m² depending on environmental exposure.
